The Windy City Classic featured 21 Conference teams and a pretty good group of 8 non conference teams.  Because the tournament is seeded by Conference points and some of the Major and AA teams haven't played a lot of tournaments the top half of the bracket had 3 of the 4 Major teams and 3 of the 4 AA teams in it.  That led to an early "Final 8" matchup between Resmondo and Dan Smith on Saturday morning at 11 AM.  Dan Smith had a big lead and held on to a 33-30 win which propelled them to a 23-20 win over SNI in the semifinals, a 29-14 win over Seminoles in the winner's final Saturday night, and a 33-24 win over Seminoles again in the championship.  Dan Smith's 1st tournament win of the year.  One of the big stories of the tournament was non-conference 'B' team Silverbacks from Indiana who beat My Auto Jack and L&S Glass both Conference 'A' teams on Friday night and then upset SmashItSports Major team 46-38 in the "Final 8" on Saturday afternoon to finish tied fo 5th.  SNI wound up 3rd and Resmondo came through the loser's bracket to finish 4th.

Note: The teams have not sent in any all tournament awards.

2021 Women's Windy City Major

Low Bob's/Shirts & Logos won their 2nd Conference event in a row going undefeated and beating Lady SNI 20-16 in the winner's final Saturday night and 10-9 on a game saving diving catch (pictured above) with 2 outs and the tying run at 3rd in the bottom of the 7th after scoring the go ahead run with two outs in the top of the 7th.  Smash it Traders Reloaded from Arkansas finished 3rd and MPT was 4th in the 14 team field.
