My college baseball days are over.

Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
Chitty baggs, great teammate, knows the game and plays both sides of the game.
Blake King, positive attitude, plays the game with respect, great hitter to all fields.
Brian Logan, shut down outfielder and puts pressure on the defense with his speed out of the box.

What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
on a baseball or softball field.

What do you do for a living?
Work for UPS

Lafayette High School,

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
Always wanted to play softball after baseball. I have only played  C til this point. I have played upper ball only as filler role.

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
the over all speed of the game, and how well players can cut the ball and close gaps in the field.

Is there a player that you would compare your game to?
Billy Moran

What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
Class D 2011 National Championship Title, playing in the hall of stadium. And winning the 2013 Major Co-ed World Championship, All-Tournament Team Award.

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
My uncle Edward Perry, "play the game with everything you have. You get out of the game what you put in it."

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Your actions on and off the field speak as loud as your play on the field. Never disrespect the game by thinking your bigger than the game.

What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
I lay my top hand over my bottom hand.

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
surround myself with hard working veteran conference players such as Jeremy Yates, Kevin Kennington and Blake King and try to out work them.

What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
New York Yankees, college football.

Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
I have none.

What would be your "at bat" music selection?
B.O.B Beast Mode

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
it runs pretty good.

What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
The boone, a chance to hang out with friends and face great competition.

What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
Hall of Fame Stadium, Disney Wide World of Sports. The atmosphere is unmatched.

Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
BUFFALO WILD WINGS

What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
Darrell Cribbs swinging and missing at the plate, so I took a batting tee and set it on the plate for him and placed the ball on it.

Tell us something about you that most would never know about you?
I am a published author. (Retribution)

What was your favorite sports related gift you have ever given or received?
My grandfather gave me his half-brothers early 1900 ball glove. His half brother was Ty Cobb.

    Good Luck Lee ! A good local(2 hrs away) pick-up for the HOF and the season ! He plays an aggressive outfielder ! Give him a shot !

    Lee works hard on his game and is a team player. I think any team hunting a utility type player would be happy with lee. He is a convienant pick up for the hall of fame tourney, being from North Florida. Good luck lee.

    Played with Lee at this years Wint Nats and he’s a gamer… Made some great plays in the outfield and hit well all day. Would be a solid pickup for anyone looking.
