Right field, center, first and some pitch

Why do you like the game of softball?
I love the pressure of winning the big game and running the table lol

Not sure as of now, there are a lot of rooks on there way up

What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?
JB, its the first letters of my name and speedy because i have wheels

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
Watching Baseball,Football and getting on the water

Yes, baseball, football and track

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
My boss played back when i was 18 and needed an extra player so i started out catching and fell in love with it ever since

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
The speed of the game

Is there a player that you would compare your game to?
Ken Griffey

What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
Winning my first championship with my co-ed team at the worlds and winning my first ring

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
My best friend Leo G, he made the game fun when i was being to up-tight

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Practice your technique and don’t let your old ways come back to haunt you. Follow through

What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
26 oz finger over finger on the lower

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
We have a few camps close to me so i take the class to keep up with my batting

What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Yankees

Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
I don’t have sex the night before the big game lol, i like to stay focused on the game so i sleep in the extra room before i play.

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
Extend the fence line to the pros level like baseball

What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
Spring fling in Maryland

What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
University of Maryland sport complex, 1000 fan seating, underground dugouts, natural grass

Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
No clue lol……after a game all food is good food

What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
Fly ball the the dome

I have been a big brother for the past 10 years and coach an all woman’s softball team
