Who are you playing with in 2012?
LineDrive

Why do you like the game of softball?
Chance to hang with friends, get away from work and meet some great people

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Too many to list all of them, but a few Wegs, Spike, and probably the nicest most humble guy in the game not to mention he can play a little Helmer
some local guys that dont get the recognition but are real good players Stevie Edwards and Mike Malesko (columbus pipe)

Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
a name no one will know and probably won't ever know because of his job and he's a family man but Bryan Mangin.  He is young strong and can hit with anyone from C-Major he is a Highway Patrol Swat team member so he doesn't have the schedule that lets him play on a full time conference team, but if he could you would hear his name around some tourneys

What is your nickname in softball?
Ferg

What is your height and weight?
6'2"   235

Where do you call home?
Columbus Ohio

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
Hanging by the Pool and I love playing golf!

I'm an Activity Therapist at a Prison (basically an Athletic Director for a prison)

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Baseball/Basketball/Golf in High School

Basketball/Baseball in College
Spring training with Padres minor league system and some independent ball

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
Got my start in softball with some buddies in High School after baseball was over played E world 2 years later got a chance to play with a C team and then then next year got my first shot at upper ball with Mike Foulks on Team Insanity then with Linedrive/Columbus Pipe been with Linedrive since

What was the best advice you were ever given?
"Listen to guys who have been there and done that" "let the game come to you" and My favorite   "swing hard in case you hit it"

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Work on your game every chance you can!  BP and weight room.  There are so many good players out there now you have to be able to play and you have to have a little luck to get noticed.  So when you get your shot don't let them question if you are dedicated to them game or not

What position do you play?
Anywhere really last year played 2nd 3rd and some short this year I think I am playing 2nd and outfield

What batting grip do you use?
normal baseball grip with the pinky over the knob

Atlanta Braves and Boston Redsox

What is your favorite sport other than softball?
Baseball

Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
when I am hitting well I will take the same number of warm up swings with the weight bat

What is your most memorable softball moment?
not as big as a lot of the guys on here, but my first year really playing upper ball I got to hit with Jeff Hall in the Cincy Homerun Derby and finishing 2nd in the team part and that same year playing in the bash for cash in cincy with some big name players like Ryan Robbins, Filby, and Big Ticket (RIP) That was a big deal to me just starting off in softball.

What would be your "at bat" music selection?
"Magic Stick" just because that was the song I had in college

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
I am still new to upper level softball but maybe limit major players and watch list players per team.  I mean dont get me wrong ALL The major guys can play but kinda gets old when Resmondo losing is the biggest story at any tournament.

What is the best softball field you have played at and why?
I love the fields at Disney the infields they keep nice and outfield is like turf

Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
Theres always the go to places BW3's and Roosters but I like finding lil hole in the wall sports bars
