Who are you playing with in 2022, and who have you played with in the past?
2022 Free Agent – dylanconner18@yahoo.com

This past year I played with a couple different teams including local C team "Supreme" before being picked up by Conference team GSP/Tri-State/VBW, the rest of the year was spent with Military A team S2B.

What positions do you play and what is your best position?
Pitcher

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Travis Clark

Why do you like the game of softball?
I love the competitiveness, brotherhood, and adrenaline that comes with showing up and doing whatever is necessary to win championships.

Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
Best up and coming player for me would have to be either Chase Benfield, or Kody Garrison. Both players were on GSP with me this past year and both have the same mindset of doing whatever the teams needs to win. Chase will be a top 5-man on defense and reliable hitter on offense in the years to come. Kody will only continue to get better at putting the ball where he wants it with power at the plate.

What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?
Robi, I have had the name since Jr. High was just an easy way for teammates to differ between me and another Dylan.

6'0" 170lbs

Where do you call home?
Oklahoma

Bowling, batting practice, or watching Conference games.

Reached out to a local military team 4TF/Colorado Springs on the USSSA.com website from there I started putting in the work and study time to become a pitcher, a better hitter, and taking every opportunity I could to play against/with upper players.

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
The level of intensity and the feeling of going to war every game, as well as the feeling of it being like a business the whole weekend.

Is there a player that you would compare your game to?
Not one specific player but I watched a lot of Mooch, Clark, and Purcell when I was first learning. Still watch and learn from them.

What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
Winning the Military Band-Aid A/B combined tournament and being named tournament MVP. Also the few games I was able to play at the Kut4 Classic in Atlanta against Sports Reach, Competitive Edge, and Prime-time.

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
John Brock he has had the most influence on my game learning the skills as well as the mental aspect of the game.
