Chick-fil-a's Co-MVP of the tournament Zach Sanford hits in the winner's final vs Cash House

18 teams from 7 different states played in the "Battle on the Chesapeake" Conference Major at the Bachmann Sports Complex in Glenn Burnie, Maryland this past Saturday, June 11th. Chick-fil-a/Slugger/BAF/LBT a 'AA' team from Virginia went undefeated beating a feisty Cash House/JBL Roofing/Titans (OH-B) team 19-17 in the winner's bracket finals early Saturday evening and again in the championship 21-1 late Saturday night. THis was Chick-fil-a's 2nd tournament win in a row as they won Atlanta just two weeks ago! The tournament began Saturday morning at 6:30 AM due to forecast rain and they decided to finish it Saturday night due to more forecast rain on Sunday. 3rd place was West Point Softball (IN-A) who lost the loser's final to Cash House by 1 run with the bats in their hands at the end. And 4th was Nitro Circus/Klutch/Team 199/BRC (MD-TBD).
