1st Place – Xtreme/Miken/ASP/Athlon

Xtreme/Miken/ASP/Athlon based out of Minnesota earned an incredible championship at the USSSA 'AA' World tournament when they lost their 2nd round game to Worth Astros by the run rule and then beat Primetime/Easton 31-26 late Saturday night, and came back Sunday at 9 AM and sent home Classic Glass/Easton 40-35, Worth Astros 30-26, and "double dipped" Precision 35-20 and 41-35!  Xtreme finished up at 5 PM Sunday after 8 straight hours and 4 wins to take home the prestigious championship.  Classic Glass finished 4th and Primetime and Nightmare tied for 5th.  The tournament was moved to Osceola Softball Complex in Kissimmee, Florida after Hurricane Irma damaged the fields at the traditional venue at Fortune Road.  Congratulations to Xtreme sponsor Mike McGowan, the coaching staff, and the never say die Xtreme players!  Shannon Smith was named tournament MVP and Brandon Newman was Defensive MVP.  The rest of the awards should be posted in the tournament report.
