What positions do you play and what is your best position?
3rd, Shortstop, and 5 Man. I would have to say shortstop is position I am best at but I enjoy playing 5 man.

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
I have seen a lot of great ball players so it's hard for me to just narrow it down to one.

Why do you like the game of softball?
I've grown up watching the game because my dad played for many years and I would like to achieve playing in the same level my dad did.

Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
There are a lot of solid ball players that are new to the game so I can't narrow it down to one person.

What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?
I haven't been given a nickname yet.

What is your height and weight?
6'1 220lbs

Where do you call home?
I currently live in Lake Jackson, TX

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
My favorite way to spend an off weekend is doing something outdoors hunting, fishing etc

What do you do for a living?
I give private baseball lessons and training

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
I played High School baseball and I was drafted out of HS by the Arizona Diamondbacks where I spent 4 years as a pitcher in the minor leagues.

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
I got my start in softball picking up in a tournament on my brothers team in 2010. I was fortunate to play on good teams starting out and it led to great opportunities that allowed me to reach it to the upper level.

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
The most surprising difference was the speed of play and how much more competitive it is.

What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
My career highlight to this point I would have to say is hitting a walk off homerun to win our first Budfest tournament with the Rosenberg Bulls.

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
My brother has been the most significant impact on my approach to the game because he is who got me started in softball so I was able to learn off of him.

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Work hard and get with the right people that will give you opportunities to prove what you can bring.

What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
I use the traditional batting grip I like to get the handle of the bat deep into my fingers. I use a 26 and 27 ounce bat.

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
I prepare by taking bp a few times a week and playing with friends during the week and weekend.

What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
My favorite sports team is the Houston Texans but my favorite sport by far is basketball.

Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
The only superstition I have is I have to put my left batting glove on first then the right one when on deck.

What would be your "at bat" music selection?
My at bat music would be something rock or country.

What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
Favorite non world tournament is the Cajun Classic in Carencro because its a fun tournament and the food is awesome over there.

What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
The best softball complex I have played at is BLD Mansfield because it is well kept with nice fields.

Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
Best place to eat after a game is whataburger.

What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
Funniest thing I have seen on a softball field is a friend sliding head first into home and not even getting close to the plate.
