TDB/Racks/Athlon MVP Everett Williams hits a blast at the Dudley in the Winner's Final Saturday vs Premier!

 

1st Place – TDB/Racks/Athlon (NC-Major)

 

TDB/Racks/Athlon the #1 team in the nation went undefeated at the 2019 – 37th Annual Dudley/Budweiser/Xtreme Major in Brooklyn, Minnesota.  They rolled through a couple of good 'B' teams Friday night and Saturday morning, then outslugged Smashit/Precision/3rd Street/Bulldawg (IL-AA) 50-44 in the semifinals, and beat Premier/TG/HDLNS/4With.com/Easton (OH-AA) 44-23 in the winner's final Saturday night.  Then in the championship game on Sunday TDB knocked off Smashit/Precision again 37-21.  There were some upsets in the tournament as Dan Smith (CA-Major) went 2-2 losing to Rebel Sports/TN/Troupe/M24/GameBrand (MI-AA) and Xtreme/Miken/ASP/Athlon (MN-AA).  Hometown favorite Chanticlear Pizza/Eurotech/J&H/Miken/Worth (MN-A) finished 4th and Premier who forfeited Sunday is currently listed 3rd.  There were 25 teams from 12 different states in the tournament.

Dudley Women's Major

1st Place – Smash It Sports/F.A.I./Miken (FL-AA)

Smash It Sports/F.A.I./Miken (FL-AA) won the Women's Dudley by coming out of the loser's bracket after being upset by local favorite Xtreme/Athlon (MN-B) 11-7 in the winner's bracket finals Saturday night.  Then they won 3 straight on Sunday including a 16-1 win over Iowa 'B' team On Point, and completed the "double dip" of Xtreme 20-15 and 14-3 to win the tournament!  There were 11 teams from 5 different states in the event.
