Who are you playing with in 2022, and who have you played with in the past?

Played with Ssso What in 2021 (1st year Conference team).

What positions do you play and what is your best position?
Pitcher

Why do you like the game of softball?
It's my first love outside of my family.

Where do you call home?
Lowell, MA

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
Relaxing

What do you do for a living?
Softball Director

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Yes, in high school and college.

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
Played Co Ed with TITT for 3 years.  The girls from TITT started the team Ssso What to play in a fun tournament back in 2014.  Every year we would compete and made it to 3 World finals (in our class) in 4 years, and we kept getting bumped up.   The team just took off from the start and kept going.

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
The teams are stacked 1-10 along with great bench players.  Usually there's a few good players on non-conference teams but at this level everyone is a ball player/competitor. And it makes you hungry to compete.

What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
Winning A/B GSL Worlds in 2020.  Our team has made it to the finals on 2 previous occasions but unfortunately we came up short.  Third time was a charm for us.

What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
Regular grip and 25.5 or 26oz.

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
Train younger players in my program by practicing with them through out the year (helps keep me young).  Try to hit off the tee at least 3-4 times a week along with some live BP whenever I can.  Also, pitch a couple of buckets to work on my different spins and knuckle ball locations at least 3-4 times a week.  Plus, I have fun with my girls during pitching lessons and try to create/work on new stuff.

Outside of Softball training, I workout at the gym at least 3-5 times a week.

What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox

What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
Le Pif in Canada b/c I've never played in front of some many people in my life.

What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
Disney ESPN complex and Space Coast Complex
