Semifinal Condensed Game – Smash It vs Monsta link

Nitro Circus pitcher Tom Bloom hits against Andy Purcell in the championship!

Smashit/Thunder/Chose/Pure/RF/BD/TDB the #1 team in the nation went 7-1 and "double dipped" cinderella Nitro Circus/Kultch/Team 199/BRC (MD-TBD) 30-15 and 26-10 in the championship Sunday after Nitro beat Smashit 26-24 in the winner's bracket finals Saturday night. Smashit let each game sort of come to them as they knocked off their biggest challenger Monsta in both the semifinals and loser's bracket finals. There were 32 teams including 27 from Conference USSSA. Monsta finished 3rd and WestPoint Softball (IN-A) who beat TLC, Cheap Suits, Proton, Precision, and 4With.com finished 4th! The tournament was played in cool conditions with some rain on the 300 foot fields at McCaslin Park in Carol Stream, Illinois.

One of the great stories of the Chicago Major was the Rock Run/AllHustle/Silverback/Koval (IN-B) team that sent home Resmondo and MPT Rentals in back to back games Saturday! Condensed game here.

Lady SNI forces the "if" game against Derby Girls in Chicago!

Smash It/Derby Girls/LaClear/Easton (WA-Major) won their 5th tournament of the season knocking off Lady/SNI/D1Apparel/DeMarini/Slugger (FL-Major) 27-12 Saturday night in the winner's bracket finals and then 17-2 in the "if" game of the championship after Lady SNI beat them 14-13 in the 1st game. LSR an Indiana 'B' team was a surprise 3rd knocking off Lady Proton 15-0 in the 4th place game and they finished ahead of 7 higher class teams!
