Who are you playing with in 2019?
I took 2018 0ff due to an injury. previously with killman heating and air (C) and Pure sports (A) in 2017.

What positions do you play and what is your best position?
I can and will play any position on the field. Played outfield and 1st Base with Pure.

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Bryson Baker. He is a pure hitter and does what the team needs him to do to win.

Why do you like the game of softball?
Competitive, fellowship, travel and its a big family at the local levels.

Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
I honestly think Tyler Marshburn with TDB is the best young talent I have seen. he plays the game the right way and doesn't talk a lot. Just gets the job done. Great kid also.

What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?
Honestly I don't believe I have one. The closest thing is, when the Pure team called me "BP" last year when I was at the plate the second half of the year bc apparently, I crush it in BP and not so much in games.

What is your height and weight?
6'2 225 lbs.

Where do you call home?
Jacksonville, Florida

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
with friends at the beach or playing cornhole in the driveway.

What do you do for a living?
I run a Machine for an engraving company.

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
High School football and baseball. Pro Arena Football.

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
I Started with a group of friends right after I stopped playing baseball. (Aiken,SC)
I was playing in a D tourney one weekend and a director saw, told his buddy who ran a successful C team and the rest is history.

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
The skill of the defense,

Is there a player that you would compare your game to?
Kyle Pearson.

What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
Hitting a homerun against Miken Extreme at the duals (my first tourney) to take a 4 run lead and advance to play smash it in the stadium. Was so excited, I almost took the bat in the dugout after all the high fives.

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
Micheal Jordan Miller, middle man for killman heating and air.

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Play the game hard and do not ever think u are better than the game. Stay humble and battle every at bat.

What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
Tape and 27 ounce.

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
workout and a lot of fungos and BP. I take pride in defense.

What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
Atlanta Braves baseball and Georgia bulldog football

Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
Must always stare into my bating gloves before an at-bat. It clears the mind.

What would be your "at bat" music selection?
whispers in the dark.

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
Bring the bat buckets and testers to everything C and above.

What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
Peach festival in Trenton,SC. it is home and its a big family playing ball together. and the Pork chop sandwich between games.

What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
Myrtle beach. market commons. it is a good layout and the turf fields play true.

Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
Cook Out or Hooters

What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
I once saw a guy get sniped at every single base and still get and inside the park homerun. 

Tell us something about you that most would never know about you?
I play DRAG racing games on my phone for the sole purpose of working on reaction time. 

What was your favorite sports related gift you have ever given or received?
my catchers mit from high school.
