Who are you playing with in 2014?
Naples A's 35 and older wood bat baseball.

What positions do you play and what is your best position?
Outfield, but I'm sure I would have made a great pitcher!

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
I watched myself on video once..

Why do you like the game of softball?
I really never liked it, I just played for the money!

Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
I watched my neighbors son play little league the other day and this kid on his team named Brian Bigelow was hitting it pretty good, so I would say him…

What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?
My nickname is Billy the Kid. No idea how I got it but maybe because I was the leader of our gang..

What is your height and weight?
6' 225lbs.

Where do you call home?
Usually from my cell phone.

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
Anything but softball. I really like cutting my lawn.

What do you do for a living?
I'm a custodial engineer at my daughters elementary school.

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
My baseball career came to an end so my buddy asked me to play C ball with him and we won state that year and there just happened to be a coach from our local AA team and he thought I had a hot girlfriend so they asked me to play with them and the rest is history..

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
No idea what your talking about….next question

Is there a player that you would compare your game to?

What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
It would either be my 2005 World Series MVP or pulling 2 chick's out of the bar in 1 night in Roanoke, Virginia..

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
Probably Frank Webb.  He always had some great motivational sayings when u were in the batters box..

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Try and find something else to do with your time.

What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
I use the half western grip and my bat is a 28oz.

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
I watch a lot of reality television.

What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
My favorite sports team is the Minnesota Links and my favorite sport is probably handball.

Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
I never watch my reality TV shows with a shirt on and I never eat chicken with the skin on it..

What would be your "at bat" music selection?
Miley Cyrus Wrecking ball

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
Shutting it down.

What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
I would have to say I had a pretty good time in Roanoke Virginia. I don't think they have one there anymore though..

What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
Disney,  no explanation needed..

Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
Duh, Hooters..

What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
Howie Krause throwing one of his tantrums…
