Resmondo wins Dudley

Resmondo defeated Laservision by the run rule in the championship game of the 31st annual Dudley.

The tournament was shortened by rain that hit on Friday night and the main fields at Central Park was flooded and unplayable for the weekend.

On Saturday morning the tournament was moved to Becker Fields which were loaned out by a neighboring city from 9:30 AM until 4 PM.  So the tournament director decided the only way to get the tournament completed was to drop the 17 Non-Conference teams and let the 7 Conference teams play a single elimination tournament with 5 inning games.

Shoppe beat WSC although it was just 12-8 Shoppe about halfway through the game.

Xtreme beat Hortenbach Auto in a spirited game between Minnesota rivals.

Laservision made quick work of Team Stoop.

In the second round Laservision busted open a close game and run ruled Shoppe while Resmondo jumped out to a 21-1 lead on Xtreme.  Xtreme fought back to a 29-19 deficit at one point before Resmondo won.

In the championship they played 7 innings and Resmondo led by 9 after 5 innings and ended up run ruling Laservision for the championship.

I will have a few pictures and video clips and a small report soon.
