Pure Sports/Monstas Filip Washington hits against TDB/FAI/Klutch/Miken in the championship!

Pure Sports/Monsta (SC-AA) went 5-1 and came out of the loser's bracket to win the one day-10 team Nationwide Conference USSSA Major in Charlotte, North Carolina sponsored by Louisville Slugger and Demarini!. Pure Sports lost in the winner's bracket championship game to TDB/FAI/Klutch/Miken (NC-AA) 30-19 in the late afternoon Saturday when TDB scored 14 runs in the top of the 7th after trailing 19-16, and TDB blanked Pure Sports in the bottom of the 7th after Pure Sports had led most of the game. Pure Sports then dropped to the loser's bracket and run ruled Rapid Fire Athletics/Sports Lounge (VA-A) who finished 3rd 29-9, before double dipping TDB in the championship 36-21 and 32-17. Killman's (SC-C) finished an impressive 4th, and B.O.T./TNT/Evo9x (NJ-C) and Terry's/Holland/s/Louisville Slugger/T&ATools (NC-A) tied for 5th.

Hitters Inc (VA-B) won the 5 team Women's Major over TDB/Bounty Hunters (GA-A) 9-4.
