Why do you like the game of softball?
Its better than golf, badminton or bowling
 
Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Seriously manual "mclovin" diaz, he chooses not to play tournaments because of work and family.
In conference: rusty, jmac, bisbee, pesso, julio, donovan, bowlin.. I can go on forever.  Pretty much everyone playing conference ball is legit.
 
Where do you call home?
Chino, California
 
What do you do for a living?
I work for TAI/Elite
 
Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Played 4 years of HS football and baseball and baseball at Mt. San Antonio College
 
How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
Started playing co-ed league night with friends and family when I was about 25, then got picked up with a D tournament team, from there moved up a division about every 2 years, thanks to sponsors and coaches like andy Mairs, Jimmy Torres and Carlos Vega.
 
You played a very good 3B at the 'A' World even though you are known for your pitching.   What is your favorite positions?
Pitcher, 5 man and SS, fat guys always dream of playing short
 
What is the best advice you can give to an up and coming pitcher?
Learn to hit, its safer
 
What batting grip do you use?
Standard
 
What is your favorite sports team?
Bengals, Dodgers, Lakers and UCLA
 
What is your favorite sport other than softball?
Football
  
What is your most memorable softball moment?
Losing game game 5 to Jean Shoppe in 2005 hooters B world and losing to GTL on a walk off by my boy Jimmy Salas in usssa A worlds last year..maybe this year i can have a winning memorable moment
 
 Is  slowpitch softball a sport or a game?
League night is a game
Tournaments are a sport
  
What is your favorite non-World tournament?
Toys for Tots in Palm Springs in December
 
What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
League night… a guy on my team pops a ball straight up, he's standing in the box looking around to see if it went out of play, the ball comes down and hits him right in the head. It buckled his knees and sent him to the ground…to make it worse it was a foul out
