Why do you like the game of softball?
Softball gives me the chance to stay competitive after I was done with baseball and play against some of the best players in the game. I grew up at the softball fields so it's in my blood. It has also allowed me to meet some great, lifelong friends.

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
When I was younger my pops helped out with Drai's for a little bit and I was lucky enough to watch Brad Stiles play. Watching him play centerfield in a 5-man was amazing. Dude could flat out go get it. Living in the same town as Denny Crine and having the opportunity to take BP with him, I think he is a great hitter. He can base hit it when needed and then hit it 500ft when needed…total team guy. Now that I have had the chance to play against the best, guys like Purcell, Connell, Rulli, Wegs, Helmer, Junior, Filby, and Messina stick out to me because not only have they been really good for a long time but they're winners and great competitors.

Where do you call home?
Las Vegas, NV

What do you do for a living?
I work for my family business Sansone's Independent Automotive.

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Played baseball in HS and college. Played 2 years of Junior College baseball and then a year of D-1 baseball at Nevada-Reno.

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
Like I said earlier I grew up on the softball field with my pops having his team Sansone's for years. Played my first game at about 12/13 years old in league with Drai's when they were short a player. Started playing C ball in 05-08 in Vegas while still playing college ball. Thanks to my good friend Tony Verdugo, he gave me the chance to play with Johnny Blaze in 09 and the rest is history.

What position do you play?
OF and I can also play 1B if needed.

What batting grip do you use?
Pinky and ring finger overlapped on my bottom hand.

What is your favorite sports team?
Cincinnati Reds, Los Angeles Lakers, Oakland Raiders, Ohio St Buckeyes, and UNLV

What is your favorite sport other than softball?
Baseball

Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
There's a bunch of little things I do that I try and repeat if I'm playing well or my team is winning but there's a few that I do all the time. Always have to clear out any footprints in the box before I hit and take 1 practice swing, I never touch the foul line, and almost everytime I make an out I take my chew out and put in a new one.

What is your most memorable softball moment?
Probably taking 2nd at B Worlds in 2010 with Famous when everybody thought we didn't have a chance. This past season I was asked to play with Wallace Landscaping in the ASA Border Battle and that was an amazing experience. The 1 that sticks out the most is being able to play with my pops a little before his injuries stopped his playing.

Is slowpitch softball a sport or a game?
Absolutely a sport. With all the time, money, and dedication put into it I think it is a sport.

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
Only thing I would say is all the Conference teams should have to play by the same HR rule regardless of what class teams are playing.

What is your favorite non-World tournament?
Toys 4 Tots in Palm Springs is probably the best off-season tournament to play in. During the season you can't beat the atmosphere and competition at the Smoky.

What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
Well having played for Wallace last season on Team Combat there are LOTS of things he has done while coaching that are hilarious. The one that sticks out the most though is when we were in Seattle in the championship of the 1st tournament playing against OC Swats and Titus was pitching and while he was pump faking and getting ready to throw a pitch Wallace was screaming at him saying "NO!!!! Don't throw that pitch, NO!!!!!!" I think it screwed up Titus more than anything LOL and this isn't on the field but nothing beats a good game of Can in the Fan right Shooter, Titus, and Coop?!?!

There is no way this guy should be a free agent he would definitely get picked up very fast and whoever picks him up will definitely be satisfied with his game one of the best place hitters around he can definitely go and get it in the outfield and even better guy off of the field. Great team mate!
