What positions do you play and what is your best position?
First base & left field.
Left field being my best position.
Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
I'm just getting into competitive softball, so undecided don't know at the moment.
Why do you like the game of softball?
Because it's an extension of baseball, which I've been playing since 8 years old. I love the game of baseball and so naturally softball was the next step once I retired from hard ball.
Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
Myself! I have 4/5 tools, my speed may have declined a bit due to age (38).
What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?
None.

6'1" 220lbs.

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
Playing in a competetive softball tournament.
What do you do for a living?
Solutions consultant for Guidance Software
Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Yes.
Baseball & basketball in high school. Baseball in college and played professionally for a moment as well with the Joliet Jackhammers.
How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
A friend of mine brought me in. Currently I am on a quest to play in upper level leagues/tourneys.
In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
Eli Robinson, taught me to hit.
What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
I use the grip that comes with the bat, 28 – 30oz.
What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
Boxing and batting cages.
What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
Chicago Whitesox. Basketball is my next favorite sport.
Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
None

Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
Somewhere with a healthy option.
What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
At this point a strikeout.
Tell us something about you that most would never know about you?
I box.
What was your favorite sports related gift you have ever given or received?
Best gift received was a wood bat (marruci).
