Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Hard to just pick one person that is the best, tons of very talented players at the Major level.
Why do you like the game of softball?
My outlet to get away from everyday life, and the friendships I've made along the way.
What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?
LOG, or LOGNUTZ

5'11 around 270

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
With my beautiful wife Julie and our dogs.
What do you do for a living?
Account Management for a software company.
Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Played Baseball in HS, and College.
What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
Speed of the game, and level of athleticism.
What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
Pretty good at framing strikes behind the dish.
What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Be humble, hungry, and respectful.
What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
Two finger overlap, 27 end load.
What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
Try to completely remove myself from softball for a few weeks, then hit as much as possible.
What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs, Baseball.
What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
I like the game the way it is.
What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
Snowball in Denison, TX. Unlimited dingers and beers with buddies.
What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
Space Coast is hard to beat, weather can't affect it and ball plays true. I really enjoy the Dudley's show fields always a good time there.
One of the good ones. Truly talented power hitter and even better friend/teammate. Couldn’t ask for a better dugout player or a guy behind the dish. Proven hitter that deserves a shot in the upper echelon of Conference. Wacks it real good.
