Who are you playing with in 2021, and who have you played with in the past?

What positions do you play and what is your best position?
Anywhere in the dirt, middle or 2B is where i am best. I can also Pitch

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Steven Lloyd is my guy. Best all around player I’ve ever watched.

Why do you like the game of softball?
I love the challenge and competition and trying to always better myself.

Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
Riley Norris. You probably don’t know the name yet, but i got to play with him this year, and you will definitely know him soon!

What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?
People mostly just call me Harmon, or 2

What is your height and weight?
6’2 200

Where do you call home?
Kansas City, Kansas

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
At the lake with my girlfriend

What do you do for a living?
I drive a truck and deliver Granite countertops

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
I played Baseball and Basketball

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
Harley Page asked me to play league and then i have been playing with him pretty much ever since

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
The speed of the game and overall consistency 1-11 in the lineup.

Is there a player that you would compare your game to?
I try to learn a lot by watching guys and Lloyd was the guy i watched the most so i have to say him.

What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
Defensive MVP at the 2nd leg of the dual in salt lake this year. And winning it again at GSL A world. Those are hard to top!

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
Undoubtedly Harley Page and Dale Nally. These guys have done more for me in softball than i could have ever have asked for. They’re always going to be my family

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Hustle is free. Never take a play off. Always be grateful for the game and the sponsors who allow us to play it

What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
Full overlap. Bottom 2 fingers off. 26

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
I spend a lot of time in the gym and hitting a couple times a week

What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
Ohio state Buckeyes and St. Louis Cardinals

Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
Never step on the line. 3 taps on the bat before putting it in the bucket

What would be your "at bat" music selection?
Anything Joyner

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
I’m curious to see how the new 240 bats work with the pro m. Maybe that, but we’ll see

What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?

What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
I loved Disney but it’s probably Space coast now

Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
Anywhere to get wings

What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
A guy got struck out swinging and the pitcher instantly goes “it’s okay bro, no one squares up that pitch”

Tell us something about you that most would never know about you?
I had 4 bones take out of my skull as a baby

    Kyle is a great competitor, and can play any position on the infield. Versatile player, and can also pitch if needed. Best trait is that he’s a great teammate and plays the game hard.

    Great young man! Watched him grow as a player from playing Church ball with my nephew in Indiana to now. Plays hard and does what the team needs to win!
