What do you do for a living?
I am a physical education teacher
Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Played baseball in high school and college.
How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
I had a guy here at home that called me one night and asked if I wanted to start playing league with them.
I started playing and was hooked for life. I have been lucky enough to play with some great teams. L&L paint, Moulton Furniture, Hooters, Mountain Top, Resmondo, Quick Roofing Alabama Brick.
What position do you play?
Pitcher
What do you do in the off season to improve your pitching?
Really nothing. You just have to try and keep your legs in shape.
What is your best piece of advice you could give an up and coming pitcher?
Never show anyone you are scared.
What is your favorite sports team?
New york yankees
What is your favorite sport other than softball?
College football war eagle
Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
none what so ever
What is your most memorable softball moment?
I was pitching for moulton furniture in the smoky mountain classic and we pulled a huge upset against ritch's superior. There was tons of people there that night it was unbelievable.
Is slowpitch softball a sport or a game?
it is both.
What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
To do away with major all together and just have one upper division. Only allow so many players on the major list per team.
What is your favorite non-World tournament?
the smoky mountain classic
