Who are you playing with in 2019, and who have you played with in the past?
Pure sports ‘18 and Pure Sports ‘17

What positions do you play and what is your best position?
Utility. I played 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and C/EH. The corner infield is my best spot.

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Connell

Why do you like the game of softball?
I’m a very competitive guy and love the competition.

Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
Justin Gregory. Young man can hit it!

What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?
Cry baby! What can I say I like to argue.

What is your height and weight?
6’1 245lbs

Where do you call home?
Cartersville, GA

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
Layed up in the house with the Family.

What do you do for a living?
Work for Acworth Parks and rec. Over the rec side taking care of football and baseball fields.

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Football, basketball, and baseball in high school. Played baseball in college at Freed Hardeman University.

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
I started with local FNOP’s. Some friends drug me to Ga to play and been here ever since.

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
The consistency of the defense and the atmosphere is unbelievable.

Is there a player that you would compare your game to?
Bubba Mack. We like to hit bombs and play on the corners in the infield.

What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
Winning AA worlds the past year, or winning the conference championship my junior year of college.

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
Tyler Driskell. Taught me how to hit Bp and situational hitting.

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Take your shot when offered. Do not change your approach at the plate when you get your shot. Do what you did that got you the opportunity in the first place.

What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
Traditional and 26 endload

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
FNOPs and actually hitting the gym this year

What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
Alabama Football. College football.

Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
My right foot must step on the plate when crossing to get in the batters box. No reason

What would be your "at bat" music selection?
Eminem “til I collapse”

What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
The Smoky Mtn Classic

What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
Space Coast Stadium

Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
Buffalo Wild Wings

Tell us something about you that most would never know about you?
I have a diabetes and was an All-American Center fielder. (20lbs ago)

What was your favorite sports related gift you have ever given or received?
My father got Iron bowl tickets for us!
