What positions do you play and what is your best position?
Pitcher but have been known to play other positions when teammates over sleep and miss a game…
Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Definitely Greg Connell, Can straight up swing the bat and cut up with the best of them.. Close 2nd would have to be Carlton Griffin "Big C"
Why do you like the game of softball?
Its a great way to keep my competitive side going and also to keep me from laying on the couch all weekend..
Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
My buddy Beau Holcomb can straight mash the ball awesome teammate and not a bad bp pitcher
And another guy would be Jake Chastain can run hit and play the field if he gets his head right he could play at the next level
What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?
Kerr, just my last name.. everyone calls me that and it just moved to the softball..
What is your height and weight?
6'2 260 and dropping easy to put on but a pain to lose…

Gray, Georgia
What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
If i'm not spending it with my daughter you can catch me on the golf course probably losing money but definitely getting 36 holes in..
What do you do for a living?
I work for Coca Cola United, keeping the drink machines full around middle georgia
Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Just alittle high school basketball, mainly was in the band…. Hmmmm
How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
Jus playing in the local conference event in atlanta the past 5 or 6 years.
What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
Everyone in the conference can hit and make the routine play… And the knuckleballs dance real well in the conference..
Is there a player that you would compare your game to?
Naw not really and if there was they probably wouldn't want me to name them.. lol
What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
My team made a run last year at C worlds no one would of thought we would, it was pretty impressive we clicked that weekend and looked halfway decent.. lol
In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
My buddy Greer gave me good advice as a hitter and a pitcher , He said "swing the bat like I do at BP and also told me to throw strikes damnit."
What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Work hard and talk to people , softball is like life its not what you know but who you know..
What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
Over lapping grip and stock 24oz not gonna jam me but really a 26oz
What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
Play as many one pitches and coed tournys as I can..
What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
Favorite sport would be golf and definitely Team Tiger
Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
Not really but I try to be the last person to my position because I like to work fast and its normally hot down south so im trying to soak up as much shade as I can before I get on the mound,,
What would be your "at bat" music selection?
Pickup Man by Joe Diffie cause I know no one else is using it… lol
What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
Maybe the speed of the game .. Other than that its not a bad system
What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
Probably the Pic in Chattanooga good fields and I play pretty well there..
What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
Gotta be the local Central City Park in Macon, GA a close 2nd would be Lizella Ball Park.. Definitely a joke !! Space Coast is by far the best ever and Disney was always great..
Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
Closest gas station open cause normally i'm ready to be home after I finish a tourney …
What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
Watching people play a backwards tourney is always funny cause no one can remember to run to 3rd.. lol
Tell us something about you that most would never know about you?
Im actually a pretty good person and friend but most think im an A**hole just cause i'm competitive on the ball field..
One of the best people you’ll ever know. Never take him seriously but a good ball player, good teammate, even better person!
