2018 – Ended the season with SIS (A Team)

What positions do you play and what is your best position?
1st Base/3rd Base

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Too many to list – but….Bryson Baker and Andy Purcell are tough to beat

Why do you like the game of softball?
Competition and atmosphere.

What is your height and weight?
6'2/215

Where do you call home?
Des Moines, Iowa

What do you do for a living?
Strategy and Analytics for a major midwestern health system

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
Started out in lower level ball with buddies.

Went to larger tournaments and started playing up, exposed at this tournaments and by word of mouth was given a shot.

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
Consistency.

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
Rob Humphrey.

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Understand your role on the team
Make the best of every opportunity given
Be thankful to the sponsors

What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
Pinky off the bottom/Top hand overlap

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
Hit

What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
Washington Capitals and the Miami Dolphins

Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
The first time I step out of the dugout….my right foot has to go out first

What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
I would have to say the Snowball in Texas. Awesome fields and fun atmosphere.

What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
Hard to beat Disney

    Disregard the first response, I thought it stated “Who did you play with in 2015”. I am a Free Agent in 2016.
