Who are you playing with in 2018?
Played with Nally's for a bit.

Free Agent –

What positions do you play and what is your best position?
1st, 3rd, and 2nd.

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Bryson Baker, Andy Purcell, Greg Connell, and Brian Wegman.

Why do you like the game of softball?
Keeps the competitive edge going.

Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
Matt Schrage. He can really #smack the ball!

What is your height and weight?
6'2 210

Where do you call home?
Des Moines, Iowa

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
Just relaxing.

What do you do for a living?
Strategic Analytics for a health system.

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Baseball, basketball, football.

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
Was around the right people. Got my start from Rob Humphrey and then was asked to join Nally's.

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
Speed of the game. No easy outs. All the routine plays are made. Pitching.

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
Rob Humphrey. He introduced me to the game.

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Learn how to situationally hit.

What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
1 finger overlap, 26/27.

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?

What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
Washington Capitals and Miami Dolphins.

Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
My jersey number has to be an odd number.

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
Work on improving the ball.

What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
Anything played at BLD. Fields are great plus the 52's keep it safe.

What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
Disney and OKC.

    Disregard the first response, I thought it stated “Who did you play with in 2015”. I am a Free Agent in 2016.
