  1. Great young talent. Jonell ‘Nelly’ Rosa is a solid consistent hitter who continues to learn the game. There is a lot of room for growth, all he needs is the right team to open the door.

  2. Javier Gonzalez says:

He recently started playing on TMT with us and the guy knocks the crap out the ball. Also for him being that big he is fast. Great guy to have on the team and always stays positive.

  3. Richard Salazar says:

This kid here has game.. Up and coming with alot of power.. both backside and pulling the ball.. he just needs his shot and he will prove his talents.. good luck Nelly.. I can vouch for this guy.

  4. Ethan Maresh says:

Been playing with Nelly for over a year now. All honesty one of the hardest hitting guys I’ve ever played with. Has a naturally beautiful swing and can crush the ball in any direction. Very quick on his feet always has a good attitude, pushes others to be better and a hard worker. Learns more and more with guidance and he will compete with any player out there with a good coach and mentor. Give him a shot a guarantee he produces… I’ll vouche for him any day.

  5. Chad Baldini says:

Very humbled guy. Loaded with lots of talent and plays with a killer instinct. Given the chance he could play with anyone on any day. Plus he is a class act on and off the field..

  6. Clarence Simpson says:

Played a couple tournaments with Nelly, and right away saw the power and bat control everyone talked about. What impressed me was his ability to play numerous positions defensively, and how humble he was. The way he stayed level headed, talked with everyone No matter if he knew them or not, and watching him talk with some of the other lefties and work with them on their swing. That impressed me the most. Softball is about helping the guys around you get better. Nelly always has a way of picking guys up and getting the best out of them. It’s always positive coming from him. Everyone that’s ever played with him know what he can do at the plate, but It’s all the other things that he does that will take him far in this sport. Good luck Nelly, the guys at Fort Hood are proud of you!

  7. Art Gonzalez says:

This guy has the talent to make into top level. Its a privilege to have him a part of TMT during our growth to become a better team. His ambitions are just like mine and that is to reach the highest level possible. He has the drive to play where you need him and a really good team player. Its a privilege to have him with us and be looking for his showcase soon (lol) as we will try and play several conference events throughout 2015 and maybe Lord Willing be able to create something special. STAY MOTIVATED

  8. Tim Ferguson says:

Nelly it was a pleasure and honor to coach and play with you. Stay humble and always stride to get better. You are one of the best hitters I’ve ever played with in this game. I love your killer instinct with the game and you know my Motto ” I’m always teaching”. I’m truly waiting to see you play conf ball you will excel with any team that gives you a chance. Fast, Powerful, and always thinking about the game loved that about you as well. People here in Japan still mentioning you over here about how you played the game and saying he could really hit. Stay humble my bro and things will come. For the record I didn’t weight 370 when my famous roll happen around 315….. Lol…. And now I’m down to 280 and still teaching…

  9. all this guy needs is a chance. I Played against and with a few conference guys and nelly is right with them or better. Very humble and puts in work. No doubt he will be at the next level soon. Very underrated.

To be that big he is very quick on his feet. U still aren’t faster than me bro..(inside joke) He always has a good attitude and pushes others to be better and work hard. I play league and co ed with Nelly and he is always helping others with the game. Thanks for pushing me to improve and letting me know what u see that I can work on. He will help any team that picks him up, all he needs is a shot. Good luck this year bro.
