What positions do you play and what is your best position?
Pitcher and outfield. Pitcher is what I would say is my best position.
Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
All around I would say Freddie Bynum
Why do you like the game of softball?
Have always liked and played baseball so this is the closest thing.
Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
Tyler disque from Burlington NC!
What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?
Sport. Just been called that all my life.

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
With my son and his sports or drag racing
What do you do for a living?
Pest control
Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Yes I did
How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
My baseball coach played and as soon as I graduated he made me play lol and mr David Allen gave me my first chance in upper. And met a lot of great people through him.
What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
The defense. And the hitting for sure. Hard to get them guys out!
Is there a player that you would compare your game to?
Kind of have my own style. Watching a few great pitchers. Probably compare the most to David Allen.
What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
First year ever playing upper with Worshams and almost beating backman. They got us in the last inning. A play of mine would be probably hitting a walk off home run this year in Indiana and DW giving me a shout out lol
In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
David Allen and Brandon Cashwell
What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Play the game the right way and work hard. You will get noticed.
What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
Regular grip and 26oz balanced.
What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
Work out and pitch and take batting practice.
What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
Panthers. And football. Or the lakers now since lebron is there!
Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
Not crossing the bats in the dug out. And if we have a good defensive inning I put my pitching equipment on the same way.
What would be your "at bat" music selection?
Can’t be touched- Roy Jones jr
What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
Conference is fine. Maybe get the C and B level more involved. I don’t know I just play.
What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
Final 4 in peters creek
What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
The new usssa complex.
Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
I always eat Japanese
What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
it’s a ton of funny things that happen: which is why I love this game

What was your favorite sports related gift you have ever given or received?
Any softball equipment.
