Who are you playing with in 2017?

What positions do you play and what is your best position?
I have played both outfield and infield, but mainly play ss, 3rd, and 2nd

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
The best I have seen play in person would be Dustin Roberts, Todd Peas, Brian Floyd, Corey Booth, and a few local young guys that areally really good Kyle Center and Branson Dozier

Why do you like the game of softball?
I like to compete, I've played baseball since I was 5 all the way through college.

Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
Bran Logan (although he's already made it) he play's the game well always gIving his best effort.  And like I said before 2 local guys that can really play both sides of the ball Kyle Center and Brandon Dozier

What is your height and weight?
6ft 190lbs

Where do you call home?
Chesapeake, VA

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
Usually with my family and 2 girls tubing down a river or going to the beach

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Yes played high school and D1 baseball as well as 2 seasons in the coastal plains league

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
My dad, when I was growing up he played for several of the top teams in our area.

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
The speed of the game, and the attitude of the players compared to backyard tournaments was a lot more laid back with less fighting and arguing.

What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
Defensive plays tend to run together so i guess just the few times I hit 1.000 for the tournament.

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
Pete Garcia, he is the guy that showed me this level of ball that I want to continue to play

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Play hard always hustle and take a lot of batting practice (and actually work on something I see so many people say they take BP but yet all they do is swing for the fence when they are there)

What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
Normal grip, 27oz

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
Usually hit in the cages at least once a week, or on a field if it's a nice enough weekend

What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
Baseball, and favorite team is the Astron been a fan since I was 9

Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
Use same bat tape until I have a bad weeked or possibly 2

What would be your "at bat" music selection?
Emniem- lose yourself

What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
Beast of the east here in VA

What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
Myrtle beach, turf fields

Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
Hooters or any steak house

What was your favorite sports related gift you have ever given or received?
Too many to choose from, just fortunate for all the sports equipment my parents provided me with growing up, because I now realize how expensive that stuff can be.
