For the love of the game.  Keeps that fire burning after baseball was finished up.

Hitters: Geno Buck, Greg Connell, Greg Flees, Denny Crine, Lee Powers, Bryson Baker
Defense: Luis Reyna, Dennis Rulli, Andy Purcell, Kevin Bazat.  I really model my game after Jr. and Izzy who are as good as they come all around

What is your nickname in softball?
Jrod

Where do you call home?
Chili, WI (barely a blip on the map, but it is there)

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
Started playing in 4-H, was thrown to the wolves when I was younger, right into B level and played my first Firemans and Dudley at 20. Gene Burdick really gave me my first shot to play in front of guys like Jr. and Helmer and Scott Brown this year in Bismarck

Center, but feel comfortable at any position aside from pitcher

What batting grip do you use?
Pinky Drop

27 oz Maxload NXT

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
Weights, cross training, and lots of tee work

What is your favorite sport other than softball?
Wrestling

No bats crossing in the dug out

What is your most memorable softball moment?
Playing Left at the McQuades with Izzy to my left and Powers, Mack, Bazat and Purcell in front of me.

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
I have no suggestions

What is your favorite non-World tournament?
Dudley Classic-Houston Hoedown (all donations go to a needy family in Houston, MN)

What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
At Corky's, our first baseman Lenny Cunitz looked up at a pop up at 1st and it hit him basically in the stomach because his arms go numb if he looks straight up because of a accident he was in.  Feel bad for him, but at the same time I was dying laughing!
