What positions do you play and what is your best position?
Now that I have lost 27 pounds and run 2-3 miles every other day I can honestly say I play anywhere.

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
For me personally I’d say Flip Washington or Daniel “Bama” Cayton both play both sides of the ball near perfect and they’re great teammates

Why do you like the game of softball?
It’s everything baseball was but better and I played at the highest level

Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
Kenny Chavez and Dante Brooke, they had a good freshman year with tradesmen as far as I know and they’re only gonna get better

What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?
Fortnite. Cheap Suits gave it to me because they all knew I played quite a bit of it lol

What is your height and weight?
6’4 225

Where do you call home?
Modesto, CA

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
Country dancing at some of my local country bars

What do you do for a living?
Commercial door installer in the Bay area

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Yes all three and ended with the Cleveland Indians

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
Sacramento Midnight madness with an old friend and then Sonny with cheap suits have me a shot when he made his first conference team.

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
Defense for sure. Doesn’t matter how hard you hit the ball, if you don’t hit your holes you’re definitely out

Is there a player that you would compare your game to?
I can’t think of anyone off the top of my head

What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
Hitting a walkoff against classic at the Easton dual

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
Easy Brandon Traylor. Always keeping me on my toes and pushing me to be the best player I can be, which includes being the best teammate possible

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Don’t ever settle, work hard day in a day out and be a teammate and the rest will take care of itself

What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
Tennis tape and 26.5-28.5

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
Workout 6 days a week, spin class 3-4 times a week, 2-3 miles a day every other day, back to my baseball long toss program

What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
I don’t really have one, I just watch players after having been on the other side of the politics

Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
Nope not anymore that stopped when I stopped getting on the mound.

What would be your "at bat" music selection?
The show goes on, lupe fiasco

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
maybe make more showcases like the state vs states available on the west coast and not just at space coast

What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
Madness or t4t Palm Springs soooo much fun with all the boys

What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?

Traylor falling after his swing on live

Tell us something about you that most would never know about you?
I couldn’t hit a softball to save my life when I first started because I ended baseball as a P/O

Love how my previous post on his “yes, for the cleveland Indians” bullshit was deleted. Guess we can all just say what we want. Exactly what’s wrong with society today… delete this again. No fact checking here…

  2. Joker says:

That’s a fantastic minor league card of you in your high school uniform though…

  3. Baseball fan says:

Ok so he didn’t play for the Cleveland Indians. He still was drafted in 3rd round and signed for 325,000. So make sure you guys do all fact checking before bashing.

  4. Brad says:

Since when is single A, “the highest level”
