What positions do you play and what is your best position?
I can play anywhere I'm needed on the field.  I believe I play my best in the middle or CF.

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Steven Lloyd

Why do you like the game of softball?
I love softball because it gives me a chance to compete.  I've played sports my whole life and I love competition.

Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
Tyler Marshburn from my home state.   Bc hes young and can hit with the veterans

What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?
To be honest I really don't have a nickname people just call me by my last name.

What is your height and weight?
6-4 190

Where do you call home?
Charlotte, NC

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
Spending time with my friends and family around the house.

What do you do for a living?
I work for Norkett and Sons Masonry

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
I played baseball and basketball in high school.  I played baseball in college.

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
I got into softball playing with a team of friends call Southern Thunder playing E and D.  I got into upper level thanks to Robo getting me on Taylormade in 2015.

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
Without a doubt the pitching and field quality.

Is there a player that you would compare your game to?
I wouldn't compare my game to his but I definitely try emulate what I see from Freddie Bynum.

What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
I've won several individual awards in the conference but I'm still chasing the elusive World Championship. That is the only award that matters.

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
I would say Robo.  My rookie season he took me under his wing and taught me how to play the game the right way and with respect.

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
I'm one to still take advice myself but what I would say is just work hard and listen to the guys that have been there longer than you.

What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
One pinkie on the knob.  27oz

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
Honestly in North Carolina we play year around.  I take BP and ground balls as the season approaches but there is always something to play in the Carolinas.

What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
New York Yankees and Baseball

Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
Never step on the lines.

What would be your "at bat" music selection?
Kevin Gates

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
I think they are on the right track.

What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
Pic O Dixie in Chattanooga and my favorite conference tournament is the Smoky.

What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
Space Coast I love the turf and the tough conditions benefit the infielders.

Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
When I travel out of town I love to try the local places but everyone seems to end up at BWWs or hooters.

What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
Guy diving head first into third with a small pond already around the bag.

Tell us something about you that most would never know about you?
Most people don't know I was born in NY.
