Who are you playing with in 2018?
2017 Chaos out of Victoria

2018 Free Agent –

What positions do you play and what is your best position?
SS,5Man, 2nd and OF. Anywhere in the middle infield is where I’m best. 

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Uhhh besides my dad(Tuck Hinton) would be my cousin Everett Williams and Ced Allen

Why do you like the game of softball?
I like the competition. Play the best guys from different states. Not to mention you meet a lot of great friends throughout the year. 

Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
John Paul Verver(Chetto). He rarely makes a out, and leaves it all on the field. 

What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?
Dom. I guess people got tired of calling me Dominique so they shortened it

What is your height and weight?
5’8 197

Where do you call home?
Manor, TX small town about 15 minutes outside of Austin.

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
If I’m not playing ball honestly I’m lost. lol. But I have 2 daughters so normally Chuck E. Cheese or a trampoline park. If not I’ll shoot washers 

What do you do for a living?
I’m a shop driver for Airco Mechanical. It’s a Air Condition,Heat and plumbing company. 

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
I played football, basketball, and baseball in high school. Didn’t play any sports after high school.

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
My dad got me started. And Everett Williams helped me get the few upper looks that I received. 

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
I haven’t made that jump yet. Hopefully it comes soon. 

Is there a player that you would compare your game to?
No. I play the game my way. So it’s hard to compare my game to someone else’s 

What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
Hispanic Worlds in 2012 I shared the field with a softball legend George Govea. He passed away last year so I’ll never forget the first time I played on tbe same team as him. 

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
My dad just because he’s played at the highest level to play at when it comes to Softball. 

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Leave it all on the field and respect the game. You never know who’s watching. 

What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
I use bat tape. I swing a 26 Oz

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
I take plenty bp and fielding practice. And I work out as much as possible. 

What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
Boston Red Sox. Uhhhh probably Basketball. 

Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
Dont really have any. 

What would be your "at bat" music selection?
No Smoke- NBA Youngboy 

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
More Texas tournaments. Other than that nothing. 

What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
El Barrio in Austin,Tx. It’s a ASA tournament. And it brings out the whole east side of Austin. 

What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
SkyView Sports complex in Colorado Springs. The balls FLY and the complex itself it amazing. 

Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
Whataburger. Can’t go wrong with Whataburger 

What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
I seen a good friend of mine fall twice while running to first base. He was completely sober lol. 

Tell us something about you that most would never know about you?
I write poems. At least 4 a week. 

What was your favorite sports related gift you have ever given or received?
A good friend gave me a autographed Michael Jordan Poster
