Who are you playing with in 2022, and who have you played with in the past?

Finished the year With Russells a C team out of Florida

What positions do you play and what is your best position?
P/INF. Pitching is definitely my better position

Why do you like the game of softball?
It humbles you the higher you play and if you aren’t willing to work for what you want then  You probably won’t achieve it. Always room for growth no matter how good you think you are.

What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?
My last name is about the only one.

What is your height and weight?
5’9, 200lbs

Where do you call home?
I call Central Florida home but currently live right outside of Augusta, Ga due to being Military

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
Love spending time with my 2 kids and watching them grow. And I love to work on things in the backyard and throw some food on the smoker

What do you do for a living?
I am an Electronic Warfare NCO in the United States Army

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Played Baseball through College

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
I’ve been playing softball for a little while now I got really big back into in 2014 when I was stationed at Fort Hood.

The upper jump I’m still looking for, played a bunch of C and B/C events and put the work in. Now it’s time to see it all pay off with an opportunity hopefully

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
I don’t think any one person has up until now but I’ve had some damn good mentors along the way

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Keep grinding, don’t give up and always work to perfect your craft but realize you’ll never be perfect. Hell that’s the advice I give myself anyways lol

What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
26.5, 2 finger drop/overlap grip
Swing the D

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
Always working, whether that’s off of a tee or live BP or if it’s just me pitching balls into a net in the background.

What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
I’m a huge Florida Gator fan through and through

Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
Gotta have my Necklace

What would be your "at bat" music selection?
Merica- Granger Smith

What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
Boones is always a good time

What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
Lake point in Georgia is an incredible complex

Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
Waffle House

Tell us something about you that most would never know about you?
I’m my own toughest critic without a doubt.
