Why do you like the game of softball?
I really enjoy the competiveness and team aspect of the game. There's nothing better than showing up to the field with a bunch of guys with the same goal in mind, to WIN. On top of that I enjoy meeting new people/teammates and seeing some of the old ones.
Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Wegman that dude can swing it and I also like Howard, that guy is an all-around player.
Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
I haven't been around the game that much to know.
What is your nickname in softball?
CB40 or Ballgame

Edmond, OK
What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
Just hanging out and taking it easy.
What do you do for a living?
Right now I am an administrative assistant for B-52 production
Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Played football, basketball and baseball all 3 years in H.S. played 4 years of college baseball and 1 year of Independent ball.
How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
I started playing softball when I got back from independent ball. I played on a few of my buddies, local team, nothing real serious. Couple years ago I got asked by John McGavic to play with ALL-STAR PLUMMING (ASA) out of Oklahoma. Then through some old friends and getting noticed at a few tourneys Kelly Webb asked me to join RENTKING (C team out of Okla). So when everyone went their separate ways at the end of the year, I followed a good group of guys down to Texas to play with Corey Butcher and Gold's Gym (B Conf).
What was the best advice you were ever given?
The man who is afraid to risk failure seldom has to face success. -john wooden
What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Play you're a$$ off cause someone is always watching!!!

Outfield/Infield

Regular

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
Hit the weights and cardio. I do a lot of cardio to help keep my legs in shape. You know them outfielders have to do a lot of running.
What is your favorite sports team?
Oklahoma City Thunder and Oakland Athletics
What is your favorite sport other than softball?
Flag football and basketball
Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
Depending on how I hit, I always wear the same batting gloves and I also place my hat on top of glove the same way in the dugout.
What is your most memorable softball moment?
Getting 2nd last year in Houston with Gold's Gym.
What would be your "at bat" music selection?
Anything Red Hot Chili Peppers or Kanye West
What is your favorite non-World tournament?
I heard the Smoky is a blast; I couldn't make it last year due to work. I have to make it up there and see what it's like.
What is the best softball field you have played at and why?
BLD Mansfield, TX. The outfield is on-point
Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
I am a human garbage disposal. Enough said.
What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
I was playing a tournament in Ardmore, OK with a bunch of college buddies. While we were warming up a ball got tossed over the fence. So my buddy, a real JOKER, goes to jump over this 8ft fence and when he got to the top we pulled his shorts and boxers down to his cleats. Completely naked from the waist down!! Instead of hopping down he just hung there with his stuff hanging. COMEDY!!!
