Why do you like the game of softball?
It gives me a chance to stay competitive as I get older

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Being a pitcher I tend to watch the pitchers more so I have to say Andy Purcell.

Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
A local kid from around my area named Justin Smith. Plays SS with great range, great arm, great hitter, and great teammate. Hes only been playing a couple years and can go as far as he wants.

Where do you call home?
Martinsville, IN

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
Spending time with family and friends.

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
Kenny Geiersbach and Tracey Flack from P and P gave me the chance to play for my first upper team. Rob Whitehouse from Cash House gave me the opportunity to play conference.

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
There are no weak spots, everyone is a great player.

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Hit BP, always give 110%, and never be afraid of playing better competition as it will only make you better in the long run.

What positions do you play and what is your best position?
I'm kind of a utility player but mainly pitch. Pitching is my best position.

What batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
Drop two fingers under knob and overlap grip.

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
Hit BP and work out some. (My friends might laugh at the last part lol)

What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
Indianapolis Colts and Football

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
Bat testing at every event.

What is the best softball field you have played at and why?
Naples, FL   Grounds crew is amazing and the fields are nice for every game.

    Chris played almost every position for us in 2013, and did it well. Solid pitcher, fields his spots, hits for average and power. Very coachable!!
