Why do you like the game of softball?
I love the competitive spirit, the team atmosphere and the challenge of 12-15 guys merging together to try and win World titles.

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Offensive Brett Helmer,  Defensive Andy Purcell.

Where do you call home?
Kissimmee, Florida

What do you do for a living?
Firefighter/EMT, Navy Chief in the USNR.

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Baseball, Football and wrestling in high school

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
I started when I joined the Navy in 1995 played for the base team in Norfolk VA.  Then played 'A' with T&R Stucco thanks to Dustin Roberts, Chad Louden and some great sponsors like Troy Nance, and Joey Michaels for that opportunity.

What position do you play?
Middle Infield, 2nd base

What batting grip do you use?
Bottom 2 fingers off the handle overlap.

What is your favorite sports team?
New York Mets, Knicks, Giants, and Rangers.

What is your favorite sport other than softball?
Baseball

Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
Can't say that I do.

What is your most memorable softball moment?
Winning 2 military world championships and beating #1 ranked Resmondo with T&R Stucco.

Is slowpitch softball a sport or a game?
Both, a team sport which is a great game.

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
Have a limit of 5 major ranked players on each team.  Do away with E and D worlds and force the right players to play up and you will have a more competitive A,B,C program and bigger better world tournaments.  Although I understand a sponser's right to spend there money in the fashion they would like.

What is your favorite non-World tournament?
I would say the Smoky due to the atmosphere.

What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
At Military worlds we are tied bottom of the 7th with no outs and bases loaded – my friend Show says as he is coming up to bat, pack your bags boys ball game over.  Then he hits a 1 hopper to the SS who tags the runner flips to 2nd for two and on to 1st where he barely beats out the throw to win the game,  the look on his face was one I will never forget, and we give him a hard time whenever we play and he has the bases loaded.
