Why do you like the game of softball?
I like the game because you can go out and be competitive but also have a great time with friends and family
Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Well this is my first year ever playing at a level like this……….I have seen a lot of athletic people in hawaii but after watching and competing with the level of softball in the mainland its hard to choose one………. but ill probably say Bryson Baker, Jimmy Salas, Brian Wegman and Brett Helmer
What is your nickname in softball?
BHOSE was what people call me in hawaii
Where do you call home?
Maui, Hawaii/ Las Vegas Nevada
What do you do for a living?
I work for a restoration company
Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
I played Volleyball and Basketball in College
How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
I started playing at this level of softball due too a guy name Jon Oram………. he put in a good word i guess…………… i got a call from Stro, i tried out and i guess i made the team……….
What position do you play?
I will play wherever on the field as hard as i can as long as i get to play…………but if they need me on the bench cheering and supporting ill take that position too…… any way to help the team win
What batting grip do you use?
Overlap
What ounce bat, make and model do you use?
27 EL……. I guess I will be swinging an Easton
What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
This is my first off season so basically working a lot………….. and trying not to get out of shape……..thats basically it
What is your favorite sports team?
Even though they suck I like the University of Hawaii
What is your favorite sport other than softball?
Volleyball and Basketball
Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
I kiss a picture of my grandfather who passed and a picture of my son before every game
What is your most memorable softball moment?
The most memorable moment is this whole past season…………… just a blessing to be playing softball with such great talent around you, traveling and meeting some great people and making new friends
What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
I dont know what improvement they could do, haven't been in the game to realize things………………. i just go out there and play i really dont care………… Im just happy to play
What is your favorite non-World tournament?
Maui Bros Tourney on Maui in November……………Its always good to play softball in hawaii
What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
Never seen anything funny yet………………. dont want to put anyone on the spot but i did see a former teammate of mine swing and miss at a slowpitch softball at Majors in the stadium while everyone was watching……………….. sorry Jared…………………hahahahahahahahaha
