Why do you like the game of softball?
love the excitement, competition, and environment

Austin Dawe. Good glove and hits it a ton

Pitt. My last name shortened

5 foot 8 in. 240

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
Fishing and working on cars

What do you do for a living?
Plumbing supply sells

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
High School (Baseball)

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
Uncle picked me up out of high school for silver in NSA. I got to upper from traveling and playing open tournaments.

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
Haven't made it to conference, but to C just how everyone carries themselves.

Is there a player that you would compare your game to?
Bill Pinkham (MPT)

What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
Snappin a player off from Wahoos (Cincy) in the bottom 5th.

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
Joe Sutherland. Taught me how to progress to get to the upper level. Always stayed on me about working hard even when nobody is watching.

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Stay consistent and trust the process.

What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
overlap 2 finger. 27 oz

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
Alot of BP and defensive work

What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
Pittsburgh Penguins and Hockey

Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
Don't tie my turfs/cleats till game time

What would be your "at bat" music selection?
You and Me by Yelawolf

What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
County Community. Get to see who is the best county in the state and it is open

What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
Big League of Dreams. Great fields and old school ballpark atmosphere

Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
