Who are you playing with in 2016?
OC SWATS/DOERFLINGER/LOMANCO/KLUTCH/MIKEN…….man thats alot to type….
What positions do you play and what is your best position?
pitcher and used to play a lil in the grass
Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
my boy, Scott Kirby is probably one of the best, always plays the game the right way,
also Brian Zirkle, dude hustles till the last out.
Why do you like the game of softball?
Softball at this level is extremely competitive, which i love that aspect of it, also meeting new players each year and getting to hangout and cut jokes.
Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
Chads brother "Kyle Pearson" hometown joke, lol
also a local kid here, Kyle Ely, needs a shot on a conference team, he wont disappoint anyone.
both because they play hard and make the game look way too easy.

Ziggy, because these rednecks down hear couldn't pronounce my last name.
What is your height and weight?
5'7" ish, 200 lbs
Where do you call home?

played high school, and had the opportunity to walk on in college.
How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
started playing with a local team harts hitmen here in the panhandle, then worked my way up, been playing c for about 4 years before mike westfall asked me to come with him to dynasty. met alot of good guys there and then went to worsham.
What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
that stupid no extra foul, man if your not ready for that, it will bite you in the butt. lol
also every pitcher is good, not one or two with a good knuckle ball but all of them.
Is there a player that you would compare your game to?
not really, im just me, i hate to lose so maybe someone with a temper….lol
What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
all these games run together, but getting hit in the head in Chicago pitching for sportsman shop against 3rd street, never saw the ball come off the bat, went straight up in the air and 2nd baseman caught it.
helmets are a must, didn't even faze me, i was surprised!
In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
Mr. Wayne Rushing, taught me my backside shot when all i wanted to do was hit dingers. also taught me a thing or 2 about humility.
What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
be consistent, don't press every play, you make an error/out, that play is over, don't let it affect the team.
What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
overlap, 27oz. el till my hands get tired, then down to the 26 oz.
What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
hit alot, play local, lift and run

tap the bat from the guys in front of you that get base hits.
What would be your "at bat" music selection?
tupac- all eyes on me
What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
even out the playing field, limit the amount of major and a players on a team. it would only help the game.
What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
boones, hands down
What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
myrtle beach or columbus, i love that turf, but disney is awesome also
Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
longhorns or texas roadhouse
What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
no names, but a guy i played with always yelling got him after he hit, but he really never "got him", we always laughed when he got up to bat cause we knew it was coming. GOT HIM………CRAP, lol classic
Tell us something about you that most would never know about you?
that i would give someone in need the shirt off my back, i'm very generous to a fault.
What was your favorite sports related gift you have ever given or received?
well, im a miami hurricanes fan, but my father in law gave me a bobby bowden signed football as a joke before he passed away. so i would say that, really learned alot from him.
