What positions do you play and what is your best position?
I've been running the outfield for the past few years. I did play infield before that. I would say center field is my best but can play all three in the grass.

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
There are way too many to name. All the top guys I have played and are very deserving of being there.

Why do you like the game of softball?
Softball is a game that can bring people together for multiple reasons. You can play at the highest level one weekend and the next you can be playing with some of your buddies around the house for a good cause.

Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
Ty Cobb and TJ Wilson are two of the best infielders in the Carolina's. Bradley Jones has some of the best hands at the plate.

What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?
B is what some of my close friends call me or B. Scott

What is your height and weight?
6' 3       220

Where do you call home?
Rocky Mount, North Carolina but live in a little town called Staley, NC

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Soccer, Football, and Baseball in high school. Football in college

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
I got started playing church league with my dad when I was 16. When I went to college I started playing a league in Danville, Va. A guy named Jason Cassell really gave me my true start to playing weekend ball. I moved up and played for George Jones and the Kingsmen in C. Played a couple years in D/C then went and played for Shaw one weekend in Ohio for the NSA super world and moved up with Pure since then.

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
The defense and pitching were the two biggest differences. Hard plays at the C level are routine plays every weekend in the Conference.

Is there a player that you would compare your game to?
I don't think so, I would hope to hear he can track in the outfield with the best in the game.

What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
Winning the AA in 2018.

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
My dad has had the most impact in my life the way I approach any sport. He has pushed me since I was a kid and everything has accumulated to how I play today.

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Play the game the right way, learn all you can from the guys who have been at the conference level for a long time.
