ESPN3.com to carry games live: Border Battle Update on the Wednesday games!

The link above says todays (Thursdays) Team USA vs Canada game at noon central time and Future Stars vs Team USA game at 3 PM Central are going to be live on ESPN3.COM!  Wow.

So I will put the chat room up for the games at noon central time.

Exhibition games continued on Wednesday with Team Canada pulling of a big win over the USA Future Stars 18-17 as the Future Stars 9 run bottom of the 7th inning rally came up just short.  Canadas Claude Chiasson was 4-4 with 3 HR and 5 RBI.  Team USA was led by Bryce Oliveira who hit safely in all 4 at bats.  began Tuesday with Team USA defeating Team Canada 25-10.  Team USA was led by Jeff Hall 3-3 with 2 homers, and Robert Blackburn, Lee Powers, Rick Baker, Luis Reyna did not make an out.  USA scored 10 runs in the top of the 5th to force the run rule victory.

Note I am being told by the teams that the online box scores contain many errors in each game.

In other exhibition action Team USA scored 14 runs in the first inning and 10 more in the second inning to beat FalloutSports.com 32-11.    Lead off hitter Brian Wegman was 4-4 with a homer and 4 RBI and Rick Baker was 3-3 with a homer and 6 RBI to lead Team USA.

Team Canada also knocked off FalloutSports.com 26-24.  Canadas lead off hitter Dave Boldt was 5-5 with 6 RBI as Canada scored 11 runs in the first inning and added 6 more in the 4th and 7 in the 5th.

The official "Border Battle V" game will be played today (Thursday) at noon central time and aired on ESPN on Saturday at 11 AM Central time.

The Teams USA vs Future Stars game will be played today (Thursday) and aired on ESPN on Sunday at 3 PM Central time.
