RF/ 2nd base
Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Steven Lloyd, The guy plays the game the right way.
Why do you like the game of softball?
Its competitive and I have met a ton of amazing people.
Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
Bo Goins and Adam Woodbury
What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?
Rookie. Im usually the youngest on the field.
What is your height and weight?
6'3 215
Where do you call home?
Hastings, MI
What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
I find a local tournament and hang out with buddies i dont see often.
What do you do for a living?
I work at Softball Fans
Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
I played High School Baseball and Tennis.
How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
In 2016 I won an E ring and a local C team (Honey Badgers) was making the jump to Conference and Jeff Taylor gave me an opportunity of a lifetime in 2017.
What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
The speed of the game, teams are scoring 7-10 runs an inning at least compared to the 3-4 in lower ball.
What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
I made a play on the RF line against Precision in 2016 at the Mojo and right when i caught the ball i smoked the fence.
In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
Hands down Dylan Cuddahee and Bo Goins. They taught me how to play the game the right way and pushed me the most to be the best player I can possibly be.
What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
To be humble and respect the game.
What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
26oz and I overlap 2 fingers.
What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
I condition and try and take bp 2 times a week at my work.
What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
New York Mets, Basketball
Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
I have to use CDZ batting gloves.
What would be your "at bat" music selection?

Nothing
What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
Texas Snowball
What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
Myrtle Beach, I enjoy playing on their turf fields.
Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
Panda Express
What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
Kyle Pearson hitting balls at the people running.
What was your favorite sports related gift you have ever given or received?
