Why do you like the game of softball?
I still enjoy the Competition, and have met some really good people from playing this game

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
There are quite a few out there, but I would have to say Andy Purcell.  He's the best at what he does.

Where do you call home?
I live in  Washington, NC, with my wife Jessica.  And i thank her for the support and all the BP she throws me.

What do you do for a living?
I manage a Hunting Preserve in Eastern NC
     
Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Played football and baseball in high school, And college baseball
     
How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
Started playing some local  tourneys during and after college, and just took off from there..  tried to work on my game and get better each year, eventually got some opportunities to play with some A/B teams along the East Coast.
     
What position do you play?
 Pitch mostly… but can play infield

What batting grip do you use?
overlap grip

What is your favorite sports team?
Gotta pull for the Panthers, but always been a Dolphins fan
     
What is your favorite sport other than softball?
I enjoy a round of golf every now and then.
     
Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
Dont really have any.
     
What is your most memorable softball moment?
I'd have to say winning the Super B worlds with Benfield back in 2002.  It was one of 2 Worlds that year and got the chance to play with some really good players on that team.
     
Is slowpitch softball a sport or a game?
I'd say a sport at the upper level, you have to work on your game to play at that level.
     
What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
I know there is a lot of talk about limiting the number of major players, and i think that would help…. just may be tough telling a sponsor who he can or can not pick up when he's paying the bill.
     
What is your favorite non-World tournament?
The Smoky
