Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
My father Gary (shorty) Adams, Josh Riley, Everett Williams, Flip Washington.
Why do you like the game of softball?
Since leaving collegiate ball, the level of competition and just love the game. Been around it since I was a baby.
Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
Honestly think Kendall Welborn, he is a hitter and all around great guy, teammate, and competitor.
What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?
Adi! Been called that since I was a kid.

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
Watching the younger brother compete at the Division 1 football level.
What do you do for a living?
Residential sales rep for a brick company
Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
High school, College
How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
League ball when got out of college and notarized when I started playing weekend ball.
What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
The level of defensive play and how quickly an error and mistake at this level can lead to big innings instead of 4 or 5 runs at the lower levels. Everyone hits!!
Is there a player that you would compare your game to?
Try to compare my game to Everett Williams and Chris Scott.
What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
Going 3-3 against Rodrick Armor in the bsc worlds with a grandslam, 3 run, and a single
In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
Tae Miles, Patrick Price, jracco Gibson (juice),
Robert Blackburn, Travis Tucker, Tre Campbell.
The way to go to the plate with a plan and the situation.
What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Don’t give up and continue to work on your craft. It takes time don’t get discouraged.
What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
pink off bottom knob no over lap. 26.5 short barrel
What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
Tee work, BP and gym and cardio
What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
Cowboys and Yankees

Listen to music before games!
What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
Nothing it’s ran just fine
What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
Firecracker in rockhill!
Everyone comes out and plays huge family atmosphere.
What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
The dirt fields in Panama give you a worlds environment.
Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
Don't really have one
This kid deserves a chance. He has what it takes at the conference level. Hard worker and would be a great teammate. Really good player and would help any team. Base hits and hits for power.
