2022 USSSA Southwest Invite tournament report

The 2022 USSSA Southwest Invite which is one of the best offseason tournaments in the nation was played at the brand new Legacy Sports Park on all turf fields in Mesa, Arizona.  The Conference USSSA will have an event at this park coming up on April 22-24.  There were 2 AA, 3 A, 4 B, 8 C, 1 D, 1 Military, and 2 pick up teams in the Southwest Invites top division and it was a 2 game pool play into a double elimination format.  The tournament was won by Proton/Legacy Glove Co. (AZ-AA) who knocked off Proton/LundMortgage/Way (AZ-Pickup) in the winner's final 25-19.  STR8PLAY was 3rd and Classic Glass/Easton was 4th in the 21 team event.  There were 122 teams total across the Men's, Women's, and Senior divisions.
