2021 USSSA Major World Series Bracket Link

The 2021 USSSA Men's Major World Series begins Wednesday, October 6th at 8:00 AM eastern time. The tournament will be played at the Space Coast Stadium in Viera, Florida with its 325-365-385-365-325 field dimensions and the Dudley Stadium ZN ball. The tournament features 18 of the top teams in the nation, 16 of which were the top 16 teams in the Nationwide Conference USSSA point standings, plus Slugger/SVC who is the #17 seed and the Military Champion who is the #18 seed. The 2 "play in" games and all of the first round games are played on Wednesday and then Thursday the winner's bracket continues with the final 8, and then the final 4 plus the first 4 loser's bracket games. On Friday the loser's bracket plays all day and the winner's bracket finals are on Friday night. On Saturday the final 8 teams remaining will battle it out to crown the new champion. The wind in the stadium traditionally blows out to right field. The past 4 Major World Series champions have not been the #1 seed. Smash It Sports is the #1 seed and the higher seed is automatically the home team.

The USSSA Major is an unlimited home run event, there is no floating rubber, they start with a 1-1 count and no foul ball after the 1st strike.

This week the 51st Major World Series has 18 Nationwide Conference USSSA teams in attendance with all 4 major teams, 6 AA teams, 7 A teams and 1 Military A team. The Conference USSSA point leader and #1 overall seed SmashItSports/Newbreed/TDB/RF/BD/T3 is the favorite to win. The other teams looking to upset the favorite are: Resmondo/Smash It/Menosse/Thunder; Dan Smith/Proton and MPT Rentals/Juno Athletics.

Shea's Major World Series predictions: I predict the top 8 seeds to win in the first game and advance to the Elite 8 except for SNI. So, the Elite 8 should be Smash It Sports versus Sports Reach, Precision versus S&E/Worsham, Dan Smith/Proton versus MPT Rentals/Juno Athletics and My Auto Jack versus Resmondo. The Final Four undefeated will be 3 of 4 major teams and Shea Nation’s pick for the AA World champion. Setting the stage for the game we have been waiting all season, Resmondo versus Smash It Sports in the undefeated game on the stadium with unlimited Home Runs. Can the pitching of Andy Purcell limit the power hitters of Resmondo on the big field? In the loser’s bracket, look for MPT Rentals to make it back to the 4th place game after it’s Elite 8 loss to Dan Smith. Watch for AA teams S&E Worsham and SNI/Thunder/Chosen to each make runs after both losing to Precision in the winner’s bracket.
