2021 USSSA 'A' World Bracket and Team List Link

The 2021 USSSA 'A' World Tournament will be played this coming Friday thru Sunday at the Space Coast Complex in Viera, Florida. The tournament features 60 teams (the most in over 20 years) from 28 different states and 29 of them are from the Nationwide Conference USSSA.  There are 18 'A' teams and 42 'B' teams in the event.  Recent 'A' Worlds have had a vast amount of early round upsets which should occur again this year.  Usually 3 or 4 of the top 6 seeds lose in the 1st two rounds.  The tournament begins on Friday, October 1st at 8:00 AM and the championship is scheduled for Sunday, October 3rd at 11:00 AM.

Any team that wants their team photo taken, just let me know and as always we have to do the final 4 teams automatically.

The teams most likely to win these 'A' Worlds are the ones with twice as many wins vs the 'A' division as losses.  So Competitive Edge at 20-6 vs 'A', Chick-fil-a at 10-5, MAJ/KNELL at 17-8, and Premier at 13-4 are the favorites.  Those with winning records against 'A' also tend to do well.  Seminoles, Envy, Slugger/SVC, and Nightmare.

This weekend the A World Tournament will take place in Viera, FL at the Space Coast Complex with 60 teams and 28 from the Nationwide Conference USSSA.  The breakdown down of teams in attendance include 18 A, 41 B teams and 1 C team.  The #1 overall seed is MAJ/KNELL/Dirty Sports/DTS/DOMN8.  The other teams looking to upset the #1 seed are: CompetitiveEdge/OlmitoHeat/Adiktiv; SEMINOLES/TPS/NACSF.INC; and Classic Glass/Easton.

Predictions:  The first 2 rounds of the winner's bracket are on Friday and the Sweet 16 starts at 9 am on Saturday.  The Elite 8 begins immediately after at 10:30 am and should consist of: Competitive Edge versus Bay Area Legends, Slugger/SVC versus Seminoles, Classic Glass versus Chick-fil-a and Nightmare versus My Auto Jack.  The final 4 undefeated on Saturday afternoon should be: Competitive Edge versus Slugger/SVC and Chick-fil-a versus Nightmare.  In the loser's bracket, I predict Premier to win 3 games to make it to the 7th place game before running out of gas against My Auto Jack.  Also, look for Westpoint to make back to the 4th place after it's Sweet 16 loss to Nightmare.
