The Bash on the Chesapeake Major returns to Glen Burnie, Maryland outside of Baltimore. The tournament features 29 teams, including the Major team Pure Sports and their biggest threat SIS/Thunder. The weather looks good for softball and the tournament starts on Saturday morning and ends on Sunday. There will be two livestream cameras on the main two fields in Maryland but I (DW) won't be there. I am headed to Berliner for my twins fastpitch tournament. The fences are 300 feet on all 6 fields and the Dudley Classic M ball will be used.

This weekend at the Bash on the Chesapeake Major NIT in Baltimore, MD will have 29 teams and 7 Nationwide Conference USSSA teams in attendance including 1 major, 2 AA, 3 A, 1 B and 22 local teams. Pure Sports is the #1 overall seed but I consider SIS/Thunder/Miken/Worth/Anarchy/OA as the favorite. The other teams looking to upset the #1 seed or favorite are: Beckham brothers/Pure/Exclusive; MPT Rentals / EVO9X; and Headlines/Titan/CSB/Easton.
Maryland Predictions: The final 4 undefeated should be: Beckham versus SIS and MPT versus Pure Sports. Pure Sports and SIS should make it to the championship. In the losers bracket we could see some upsets from non-conference teams: Above All/B.O.T./TNT; FISH HEAD/CLA/BAF SPORTS; and Maroadi Transfer/Worth/Miken.
