2019 USA Super and ‘A’ Nationals in Hendersonville, TN August 15-18

Drakes Creek Park in Hendersonville, Tenn. selected to host 2019 USA Softball Men’s Super and Class A Slow Pitch National Championships

 

OKLAHOMA CITY — The top divisions in USA Softball Men’s Slow Pitch softball will once again compete for a National Championship in the south as Drakes Creek Park in Hendersonville, Tenn. has been selected as host of the 2019 Men’s Super and Class A Slow Pitch National Championships.  The Men’s Super Slow Pitch National Championship will be held August 15-16 while the Men’s Class A Slow Pitch National Championship will take place August 17-18.

“We are excited to bring these elite Men’s Slow Pitch National Championships to Drakes Creek Park,” said Managing Director of Membership Services, Rich Cress. “The city of Hendersonville offers a lot of great amenities to teams and attendees while the softball complex will provide a top-notch playing experience for the teams and umpires.  We look forward to bringing these Championships to a new part of the country while watching the top teams battle it out for the title.”

Drakes Creek Park features 12 softball fields, a baseball diamond, football and soccer fields and sand volleyball courts.  Walking trails, playground areas and shaded picnic areas with grills are also a staple at the park.  The facility regularly holds youth fast pitch and adult and youth slow pitch leagues throughout the year.

“The City of Hendersonville is extremely excited to be the host for this event,” said City of Hendersonville, Tenn. Director of Parks and Rereation, Andy Gilley.  “This level of play is what got Hendersonville on the softball map many year’s ago as the Conway Twitty Classic and we are excited that a new generation of players and teams will be in our park!  Our city is proud to partner with USA Softball and we are looking forward to seeing some of the best teams in the country next August.”
