Championship Sunday as TDB/Racks MVP Kyle Pearson hits a backside homer against Smashit/Precision

1st Place – TDB/Racks/Athlon (NC-Major)

In a tournament full of upsets TDB/Racks/Athlon went undefeated knocking off SmashIt/Precision/3rd Street/Bulldawg/BPharm 53-32 on Saturday night when the temperature dropped to 50 degrees and the ball hardened up.  Then on Sunday morning Resmondo/SIS/Thunder/RDD/H.Auto beat BayArea/Rapid Fire/Bad Draw/Easton 37-18 only to get beat a second time on the weekend by SmashIt/Precision 33-29.  In the championship Smashit/Precision had the lead 19-15 going into the top of the 5th when TDB put up 15 runs and went on to win 34-22!  MVP Kyle Pearson aka KP 1.5 was 4-5 with 2 HR and 4 RBI in the championship game!

2nd Place – SmashIt/Precision/3rd Street/Bulldawg/BPharm (IL-AA)

Chicago Women's Major

1st Place – Low Bobs/Shirts & Logos (KY-A)

Low Bobs/Shirts & Logos th #1 seed ran undefeated through the Women's Chicago Major knocking off Smash It Sports/F.A.I./Miken 16-7 in the winner's final and 17-8 in the championship.  The entire tournament was played on Saturday.  SFK/A&S Constructors from California was 3rd and Xtreme/Athlon from Minnesota was 4th.  I am hoping to update the women's rankings and give a midseason update on the women's conference on my off week here.
